If you do not possess these credentials or prefer a hands-free vacation, simply add a certified captain to any weekly listing.

A weekly charter in Bahamas typically includes the vessel rental, safety equipment, and standard marine insurance. Operational costs such as fuel, port fees, crew provisioning, and food are billed transparently through an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA). Check the individual yacht listing for exact fee structures.

Common extra costs can include fuel, marina fees, skipper or crew fees, provisioning, drinks, meals, port taxes, national park fees, final cleaning, security deposit, and optional water toys. Crewed yacht charters may use an APA system, where an advance payment covers variable expenses during the charter.

Your dedicated captain handles all technical routing, including monitoring weather patterns and distance limits to ensure a safe, flawless journey. This allows your party to relax while collaborating directly with the crew to design a custom schedule filled with preferred swim stops, luxury dining, secluded beaches, and protected overnight bays tailored to your target budget and style.

Yes. Mostly, the refundable security deposits are standard for weekly bareboat rentals in Bahamas to safeguard the vessel against potential hull damage, inventory loss, or insurance deductibles. For fully crewed luxury yacht charters, this requirement is typically replaced by comprehensive corporate marine insurance or integrated directly into different operational payment structures; please feel free to check with us to ensure complete financial transparency.

For peak season, school holidays, Christmas, New Year, Easter, and summer weeks, it is best to book several months in advance. The best yachts, catamarans, and crewed boat charters in Bahamas often sell out early during high-demand periods.
