Yes. Most weekly charters in Bahamas offer professional crews, ranging from a skipper-only setup to a full complement including a captain, chef, and hostess. This fully managed option eliminates the friction of navigation, mooring, and meal preparation. If you do not possess these credentials or prefer a hands-free vacation, simply add a certified captain to any weekly listing.

A weekly charter in Bahamas typically includes the vessel rental, safety equipment, and standard marine insurance. Operational costs such as fuel, port fees, crew provisioning, and food are billed transparently through an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA). Check the individual yacht listing for exact fee structures.

On a weekly charter, expect extra costs including fuel consumption, marina mooring fees, local tourist taxes, final cleaning and custom food provisioning. Crew gratuities, typically 10 to 20 percent of the charter fee, are also customary for excellent service. These out-of-pocket expenses are paid via the APA. For fully crewed luxury yacht charters, this requirement is typically replaced by comprehensive corporate marine insurance or integrated directly into different operational payment structures; please feel free to check with us to ensure complete financial transparency.

Planning your weekly booking window around Bahamas depends strictly on your target season: - Peak Season (Summer & Major Holidays): Secure your vessel 6 to 8 months ahead. Elite catamarans and top-tier crewed charters face heavy inventory deficits and sell out quickly. - Shoulder Season: Booking 2 to 4 months prior provides excellent fleet availability and flexible layout choices to match your group size and budget.
